Sign up for insightful workshops at Safaplace’s free conference this Saturday
Among our expert workshop leaders this year are Jo Law, Rose White and Sharren Bridges.
Jo is a family & systemic psychotherapist who will invite us to think about our own experiences of change, highlighting the teenage years and their important transitions. We will think about cultural and educational expectations, including in the context of neurodiversity.
Safaplace co-founder Rose will look at how we can support children’s safe use of the online world. We will explore key safeguarding issues and share practical tips, acknowledging the impact of the TV series Adolescence and the need for ongoing conversations with young people about their digital lives.
Sharren, founder of Jen’s Acorn charity will explore how ‘masking’ works. She will share ways to support a person who masks and highlight the importance of ‘whole body listening’ to understand what they’re communicating.
