How can we tackle online bullying?
In this interactive workshop, Gareth Cort will discuss the nature of online bullying, the impact it can have on children and young people, and the steps that everyone can take to positively challenge these behaviours. He will also signpost to organisations and helplines that can provide support.
Gareth is an online safety consultant for South West Grid for Learning (SWGfL), a leading online safety charity that forms part of the UK Safer Internet Centre. SWGfL work with schools all over the UK, providing education and awareness for children and young people, parents/carers and the children’s workforce. SWGfL also develops free educational tools and resources to promote online safety, digital citizenship and media literacy skills.
