Thanks to our amazing volunteers the Safaplace reflective garden is looking ‘blooming marvellous’!

It’s incredible to think that a couple of years ago this was an overgrown piece of land on the school premises. Thanks to huge amounts of support and hard work from volunteers, it has been transformed into a safe and beautiful place to sit and think. The pictures here show before and after!

Last weekend, lots of people came and helped us weed the garden in preparation for the  application of bark chippings. If you feel like a bit of exercise in the lovely outdoors tomorrow (23 degrees promised by the weather forecast) please come and help us put the chippings down.
Volunteers will be at the school from 10am so please just come to Stoke Newington School reception and ask for us.
