We are delighted to have such a great lineup of speakers and workshops this year. Here are some of our exciting guests in 2023:
Sam Delaney, journalist, broadcaster and author of ‘Sort Your Head Out – Mental Health Without All The Bollocks’ will deliver this year’s keynote speech. Sam, who has hosted numerous shows on BBC 5Live, BBC London and talkSPORT, regularly talks and writes about issues surrounding mental health and addiction.
We are delighted to welcome George and Tanya from the charity Baton of Hope who will be talking about their public awareness campaign this summer and about bringing together organisations across the UK to raise the issue of suicide.
Chanice and Michelle from Kooth who will telling us about how their organisation supports the mental health adn well being of young people across the UK.
Also on the programme, are Dr. Helen Sharples and Rachel Lee Jones who return with their hugely popular talk on how to communicate with teenagers; Tara Hancock from Sport Against Suicide and the author Margaret Rooke. Deborah Watson from the charity Wednesday’s Child will lead a workshop on eating disorders. We’ll be welcoming back Siobhan Moore Lynch from The Discovery Ship and Joe Shearer from the Amy Winehouse Foundation who will be talking about substance misuse.
