Mosaic Workshop sessions

Over the last term, children from Year 7 at Stoke Newington School have been working on a mosaic that will take pride of place in the Reflective garden. We are thrilled that the Hackney Mosaic Project, led by Tessa Hunkin, was able to work with us on the project. The Hackney Mosaic Project aims to help people with addiction and mental health problems and at the same time to improve neglected corners of the city. The piece, started by the children and based on their New River design, will be completed by volunteers at the Project’s Hackney Downs site.

We can’t wait to see it! In the meantime here’s a recent snap of our wild flower area in the garden.
